The Aruba Instant On 1830 24G from Hewlett Packard Enterprise is a managed L2 switch with 24 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) ports and 2 slots for SFP modules. It is managed via the web or through the cloud, and includes quality of service (QoS) support to prioritise network traffic. It manages VLAN, flow control, port mirroring, link aggregation, auto MDI/MDI-X, auto-detection and spanning tree protocol, all with full duplex operation. It also supports Jumbo Frames. Measuring 253 x 43.9 x 443 mm (width x height x depth) and weighing 3.47 kg, it comes in a 1U format for rack installation. It is a solution designed to centralise and organise the traffic of an office or small business network.
