The D-Link DGS-1520-28MP/E managed switch is an L3 layer device with web-based management, designed to organise network traffic using advanced criteria. It offers 20 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45 ports, plus 4 2.5G Ethernet copper ports and 2 10G Ethernet copper ports, as well as 2 SFP+ module slots with fibre optic connector and 2 fibre channel ports. Its switching capacity reaches 140 Gbit/s, a wide margin for moving data between all connected segments. It includes VLAN support, link aggregation, spanning tree protocol, flow control, Auto MDI/MDI-X and head-of-line (HOL) blocking. All of this in a 1U form factor, weighing 4.29 kg and in black, suitable for installation in a communications cabinet. The combination of Gigabit, 2.5G and 10G ports makes it possible to scale performance according to the demands of each section of the network.
