Description

The Extreme Networks 5520-24X switch in purple is a managed L2/L3 model designed for network environments requiring advanced control. This device features 24 SFP+ slots and 2 QSFP28 ports, offering a switching capacity of 1080 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 803.5 Mpps. Its cloud management is complemented by support for CLI, ARP inspection and quality of service (QoS), along with configuration of up to 4094 VLANs. It includes two USB 2.0 ports and an RJ-45/Micro-USB console port for local management. The unit does not have basic RJ-45 Ethernet ports, as it is oriented towards optical connections, and supports 1000BASE-T copper cabling technology only on optional external modules.
