The Trendnet TI-M42 is an industrial gateway and controller with an RS-232/422/485 serial interface and four DB-9 ports, designed to manage Ethernet connections at 10 and 100 Mbit/s in accordance with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3x standards. Its black housing with IP30 protection supports temperatures from -40 to 75 °C and relative humidity of up to 95%, making it suitable for demanding environments. It incorporates MAC address filtering to control access and status LED indicators, with 48 V power supply and a maximum consumption of 3.84 W. With dimensions of 103.5 mm in width, 81.5 mm in depth and 32 mm in height, and a weight of 512 g, this gateway facilitates the integration of serial devices into industrial networks without complications.
