The Trendnet TEG-MGBS20 media converter, in a black and stainless steel finish, is presented as a solution for integrating single-mode fibre optic networks with a maximum transfer speed of 1250 Mbit/s and a wavelength of 1310 nm. It complies with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3z standards, offering a transfer distance of up to 20000 metres, a sensitivity of -22 dBmW and an energy consumption of only 0.8 W.
