Description
The LevelOne GES-2108 is a black L2 managed switch with eight copper Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45 ports, designed to organise and segment home or small office networks. It supports full duplex and half-duplex transmission, as well as flow control, which helps to regulate traffic between connected devices. It includes VLAN support with Tagged VLAN tagging and up to 32 VLANs, a useful function for separating network segments according to their use. It also allows link aggregation and storm transmission control to contain traffic spikes. Its management is carried out via web and it features quality of service (QoS) to prioritise sensitive traffic. It learns and ages MAC addresses automatically, reducing manual configuration. With dimensions of 160 x 29 x 95 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 350 g, it sits easily on any work surface.
