Description
Expand your laptop's possibilities with the StarTech.com Thunderbolt 3 to PCI Express Expansion Chassis, a silver enclosure that adds two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for mounting expansion cards. Its Thunderbolt 3 host interface offers wired connectivity technology and provides two Thunderbolt 3 ports, plus a DisplayPort 1.4 output with up to 8K Ultra HD and a 60 Hz refresh rate. With it you can power up to two displays at once and work more comfortably in editing, capture or instrumentation. The chassis is made of aluminium, weighs 1.6 kg and measures 281 x 142 x 84 mm (width x height x depth), compact dimensions that leave room on the desk. It includes a built-in fan to keep the temperature controlled and a rubber foot that prevents movement on the desk. A power LED indicator confirms at a glance that the unit is running.
