Description
Connect Gigabit Ethernet networks with multimode fibre optic thanks to the STARTECH.COM media converter, a solution that transforms the copper signal into fibre and vice versa. Its 1000Base-T input interface and 1000Base-LX and 1000Base-SX output allow equipment with an LC connector to be linked at distances of up to 550 m. It supports a data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s and reaches a maximum of 2000 Mbit/s in full-duplex and half-duplex mode. It incorporates an RJ-45 Ethernet port and a fibre channel port, as well as auto MDI/MDI-X for automatic cabling adjustment. It operates with a wavelength of 850 nm over multimode fibre and offers a mean time between failures of 65000 h. Its direct current input plug facilitates powering the device in fixed installations. The Plug and Play function allows it to be set up without prior configuration. It has a compact format in black and a weight of 620 g.
