Connect network equipment at 10 Gbps with this passive DAC cable from StarTech.com, designed to link SFP+ to SFP+ ports on compatible switches, servers and routers. Its copper Twinax construction with male SFP+ connectors at both ends enables a direct link without additional transceivers, which simplifies assembly in racks and communications cabinets. It features a 3 m cable with PVC jacket, a length that offers sufficient margin to interconnect nearby ports within the same rack. It reaches a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s and supports the InfiniBand protocol, making it suitable for data centre environments and high-capacity aggregation. It has a weight of 131 g and a black colour that blends in with the rest of the structured cabling.
