The StarTech.com Twinax Direct Attach SFP+ to SFP+ cable connects network equipment at 10 Gbps with male SFP+ terminations at both ends. It is a 10 m cable, in black, with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket, designed to link switches, servers and compatible modules within the same installation. It offers a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s and supports the InfiniBand protocol, as well as being compatible with Cisco equipment. Its male SFP+ connector design facilitates direct mounting between ports without the need for additional transceivers. It incorporates Plug and Play functionality, so it is enough to plug in each end to start working. The cable weighs 354 g and supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C, with a storage range of -40 to 80 °C. It has CE and FCC certification, and RoHS certificates of conformity.
