Description
The StarTech.com PCI Express adapter card adds 4 RS-232 serial ports to your equipment via a PCIe host interface, with serial output for connecting compatible devices. Its ASIX Moschip MCS9904CV-AA chipset manages a transmission speed of up to 230.4 Kbit/s and a 256 B FIFO memory, as well as supporting data bit configurations of 5, 6, 7 and 8. It is an internal black card, with dimensions of 12 x 68 x 80.5 mm and a weight of 239 g. As for parity, it allows Even, Mark, No and Optical Disc Drive (ODD) modes. It supports Linux, DOS and various versions of Windows Embedded operating systems, and has CE, REACH and RoHS certifications. It operates in an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and a relative humidity of 5 to 85%, and withstands storage between -40 and 85 °C.
