Description
STARTECH.COM 1-port RS232 serial PCI Express adapter card, in green and weighing 44 g. It is installed inside the computer via the PCIe host interface, under the PCIe 1.1 standard, and provides an RS-232 serial output through its single port. It features the Asix AX99100 chipset and supports RTS/CTS and XON/XOFF flow control. It allows the data bits to be configured as 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9, the stop bits as 1, 1.5 or 2 and various parity modes, with a transmission speed of up to 921.4 Kbit/s. It has a 256 B FIFO memory and a 4-pin Molex peripheral power connector. Its dimensions are 67 x 150 x 98 mm (width x height x depth) and its mean time between failures reaches 277385 h. It is designed to operate within a relative humidity range of 20 - 80%.
