Description
The StarTech.com QSFP+ to QSFP+ Direct Attach Twinax cable is a passive copper DAC designed to link network equipment at 40 Gigabit Ethernet. It features male QSFP+ connectors at both ends and achieves a data transfer rate of 40000 Mbit/s. Its 1 m cable, with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket, facilitates connection in racks and cabinets. It is compatible with the InfiniBand protocol and the uncoded MSA standard, making it suitable for switches and cards from different manufacturers. It includes Plug and Play functionality, so the connection is established without additional configuration. It has a black colour and a weight of 130 g, and is certified in accordance with FCC, CE and RoHS. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 to 80 °C.
