Description
The StarTech.com Twinax Direct Attach cable connects network equipment at 40 Gbps via two male QSFP+ connectors, one at each end. It is a black passive copper DAC cable, 3 m long, designed to link QSFP+ ports on compatible switches and servers. It offers a data transfer rate of 40000 Mbit/s and supports the InfiniBand protocol, making it suitable for both 40 GbE Ethernet environments and high-performance deployments. Its Plug and Play function simplifies setup, as it requires no additional configuration when plugged in. The jacket is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a common material in this type of patch cable. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 to 80 °C. It is CE and FCC certified, as well as RoHS compliant. It weighs 250 g.
