It reaches a maximum transfer distance of 10000 m and uses LC fibre optic connector with full duplex system, compliant with IEEE 802.3ae standard. Its housing is aluminium and it supports hot plug, as well as Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM). It has dimensions of 13.9 x 12.6 x 58.4 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 20 g.
