The StarTech.com GLC-FE-100FX SFP transceiver module is an FX-type transceiver with an LC fibre optic connector, silver in colour, reaching a maximum data transfer rate of 155 Mbit/s over multimode fibre. It offers a maximum transfer distance of 2000 m with a wavelength of 1300 nm and complies with the IEEE 802.3u network standard. It supports full-duplex and half-duplex systems, and incorporates Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) and a hot-swap function. Its power consumption is 1 W and its mean time between failures reaches 1472572 h. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 °C.
