Description
The InLine 88541P 1 m purple fibre optic and InfiniBand cable connects network equipment and data centres with OM4 50/125 µm fibre transmission. Its single-mode multimode construction offers a 50 µm core and a 125 µm cladding, with a cable diameter of 3 mm that facilitates routing in dense installations. The male connectors at both ends enable a complete bidirectional link in full duplex mode, so the signal travels in both directions without loss of performance. With a cable length of 1 m, it is suitable for short connections between switches and hubs within the same rack or communications cabinet. The assembly weighs barely 15 g, so it adds minimal load to the ports and cable management systems. It incorporates a test protocol that certifies the behaviour of the patch cord before it is put into service.
