Description
The HUAWEI eKit AP162E is a white access point offering a maximum data transfer speed of 2975 Mbit/s. It operates on the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands, with support for multi-user MIMO and BeamForming to shape the signal beams towards connected devices. It incorporates functions such as maximum ratio combining, cyclic shift and delay diversity, as well as dynamic frequency selection. Its Ethernet LAN connectivity reaches speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s, and it supports Wi-Fi Multimedia to prioritise audio and video traffic. In terms of security, it protects the network against DHCP snooping and supports the WEP, WPA2-PSK and WPA3-SAE algorithms. It manages IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, with an integrated DHCP client.
