Description
The STARTECH.COM PCI Express adapter card adds four RS-232 serial ports to your equipment via a PCIe host interface, with serial output for connecting compatible devices. It incorporates the ASIX MCS9904CV-AA chipset and reaches a transmission speed of 128 Kbit/s, plus a 256 B FIFO and compatibility with 5, 6, 7 and 8 data bits. It is an internally installed card with a mean time between failures of 26280 h and CE, FCC and REACH certifications, as well as RoHS compliance. It operates within an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C and supports a relative humidity of between 5 and 85%, while it can be stored between -20 and 60 °C. It offers support for Linux and for other operating systems such as Windows Embedded POSReady 2009, Windows Embedded Standard 2009 and Windows XP Embedded. It has a weight of 74 g and dimensions of 130 x 19 x 120 mm (width x height x depth), with a height of 19 mm.
