The Western Digital My Book Duo in its 24 TB version in black offers an external storage solution with dual bays and support for RAID levels 0 and 1. This HDD-type hard drive connects via USB Type-A or USB Type-C with version 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1), reaching a maximum transfer rate of 5000 Mbit/s and also supporting 480 Mbit/s. The NTFS file system and plug-and-play operation make it easy to use on Windows 10, 7, and 8.1, as well as on various versions of Mac OS X, and it includes LED indicators and a Kensington lock slot for physical security. Without WiFi, Ethernet, or Thunderbolt connectivity, this model focuses on delivering high capacity with RAID configuration options to protect or group data as needed.
