Description
The Western Digital Blue SN5000 1 TB SSD adopts the M.2 2280 form factor with a PCI Express 4.0 NVMe interface and four x4 lanes, designed for PC or laptop, with an M key. It offers sequential reads of up to 5150 MB/s and writes of 4900 MB/s, as well as 730,000 IOPS in random read and 770,000 IOPS in write, with a TBW rating of 600 for a mixed-use workload. Its 22 x 80 mm design and 2.3 mm height weigh only 5.7 grams, making installation easy in systems compatible with this standard. To get the maximum performance from this drive, you need an M.2 slot with PCIe 4.0 support, as it is backward compatible but limits speed if you use an older version.
