Description
The StarTech.com hard drive enclosure with UASP and eSATA is a 2-bay unit for 3.5-inch SATA drives, with hot-swap support that allows drives to be swapped without turning off the computer. It accepts SATA, Serial ATA II and Serial ATA III drives, with a maximum capacity of 4 TB, and supports RAID 0, 1, BIG and JBOD configurations. Its USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection is made via a female USB Type B connector, and it also includes an eSATA port. The chassis, in black, measures 130 x 118 x 215 mm (width x height x depth) and weighs 1.8 kg, with a 7 cm fan that helps maintain the temperature of the drives. It has LED indicators to monitor the status of the unit.
