Description
The StarTech.com SFP+ transceiver module in silver is designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections over multimode fibre. It offers a maximum transfer speed of 10000 Mbit/s with 10GBASE technology and SR transceiver type, making it suitable for short-distance links. Its fibre optic connector is LC and it operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm, reaching a maximum transfer distance of 200 m. It incorporates Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) to monitor link status, and its hot-swap function allows it to be installed or removed without turning off the equipment. With dimensions of 58.4 x 13.7 x 14 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 20 g, it is compact and lightweight. Its power consumption is 1.3 W and it has CE and RoHS compliance certificates. It is compatible with any brand and with HPE equipment such as the 5120, 5500, 5810 and 5900AF series, among others.
