Description
Connect your phone or tablet securely with the StarTech.com USB data blocking adapter, a 1 metre cable in black that joins a USB-A male connector to a USB-C male connector, both straight. Designed exclusively for charging, this accessory eliminates data transfer and acts as a protector against potential unauthorised access, allowing only the flow of power at 12 W with an output of 5 V and 2.4 A. Its mylar aluminium foil shielding and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) lining protect the cable, while the nickel-plated contacts and 32/22 AWG gauge ensure a stable connection under the USB 2.0 standard, with a maximum data transfer speed of 480 Mbit/s that is not used here as it is blocked.
