Description
Connect network equipment with the StarTech.com OM3 multimode fibre optic cable, designed for high-speed links in 100 Gbit/s installations. Its 50 µm core and 125 µm cladding construction, together with the male LC connectors at both ends and its full duplex configuration, allows data to be transmitted in both directions and supports wavelengths of 850 nm. The halogen-free (LSZH) jacket contributes to safer behaviour in the event of fire, something relevant in enclosed spaces. It features an aqua colour characteristic of this type of fibre and a weight of 139 g, with a cable length of 10 m that offers sufficient margin for runs between racks, switches or patch panels. As it is OM3 multimode fibre, it is suitable for short and medium-range distances within the same building.
