Description
Install the Smartwares RM520 smoke alarm on the ceiling of your home or office as an early warning system. Its white plastic housing incorporates a photoelectric reflection sensor that reacts to the presence of smoke. When it detects a risky situation, it emits an 85 dB alarm, a sound level designed so that you notice it even if you are in another room. It includes a test button so you can periodically check that the device responds, as well as LED indicators that show its status at a glance. If the alarm goes off due to a false positive, the pause function allows you to silence it for a while without having to dismantle the device. Power is supplied by an integrated 3 V lithium battery that offers a 10-year lifespan, the same estimated service life as the detector itself.
