Description
The Seagate Desktop HDD ST250DM000 is a 3.5" internal hard drive with 250 GB capacity, designed to be installed inside a PC tower or case. Its SATA interface allows it to be connected to the motherboard and it operates at 7200 RPM, with a 16 MB buffer that manages frequent accesses. It features a single head and works with 4096-byte sectors. In terms of timings, it offers an average latency of 4.16 ms, a track-to-track seek time of 1.2 ms and read and write times of 8.5 ms and 9.5 ms respectively. It supports a start/stop cycle of 50000 times, with a power consumption of 2 A at startup and operating voltages of 5 / 12 V. It withstands temperatures between 0 and 60 °C, shocks of 350 G when not in operation and 70 G while running, as well as non-operating vibrations of 3 G.
