Description

The QNAP TS-855X is a tower NAS with an eight-core Intel Atom C5125 processor and 8 GB of DDR4 memory, designed to centralise network storage. Its chassis, in black and weighing 8.5 kg, measures 292.9 x 231.9 x 319.8 mm (width x height x depth). It offers eight bays compatible with 2.5 and 3.5 inch drives, both HDD and SSD, with Serial ATA II and Serial ATA III interface and hot-swap trays to change disks without shutting down the device. It also includes two M.2 slots (M and B) to expand capacity with solid-state memory. The QNAP QTS system manages RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, with online capacity expansion and migration, array rebuilding and disk roaming. It recognises the FAT32, HFS+, NTFS, exFAT, ext3 and ext4 file systems to integrate into diverse environments.
