Description
The Lindy 31573 serial cable, in white, connects equipment with a serial interface via two female Sub-D connectors. Its 2 m cable offers the length needed to link devices located some distance apart within the same installation. Both ends have a female Sub-D connector, so the cable fits male serial ports on computers, controllers or industrial peripherals. The conductor is grey, a neutral tone that blends easily into visible wiring installations. It is designed to transmit data between equipment that uses this type of connection, a common standard in control electronics and instrumentation. The 2 m length is practical for setups where the devices are not next to each other, without leaving excess cable. It is a simple solution for extending or replacing a serial link in technical environments.
