Description
The LG GP57ES40 optical disc drive, in black and silver finish, is an external DVD±RW reader and writer with tray loading and USB 2.0 connection, designed for desktop or laptop computers without a built-in drive. It writes DVD+R and DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-R at 6x, DVD-RW at 6x, dual-layer DVD-R at 6x and DVD-RAM at 5x, while for CDs it reaches 24x for both writing and reading. For reading, it handles DVD+R, DVD+RW and dual-layer DVD+R at 8x, plus dual-layer DVD-R at 6x, with a 1 MB buffer that stabilises operations. Connect this portable device via USB and use it to play or archive discs without needing additional power, as it is powered directly from the same port.
