Description
Connects two SFP+ ports with this black Hewlett Packard Enterprise Direct Attach Copper cable, 3 m in length. Its two SFP+ connectors are male/male, so they plug directly into the corresponding ports without the need for additional optical modules. It is designed for short-distance links within the rack or between nearby equipment in the data centre. It supports a data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s, suitable for aggregated server and switch traffic. The 3 m cable offers sufficient slack to organise the cabling between adjacent racks. As a Direct Attach Copper cable, the signal travels over copper rather than fibre, which simplifies installation over short runs. The black sheath blends in unobtrusively within the cabling setup. It is a practical solution for extending the 10 Gbit/s network with an original Hewlett Packard Enterprise component.
