Description
The Ewent IM1228 network cable, in orange, comes as a 305 m cable roll, a length intended for installations requiring long, continuous runs. It is a standard Cat7 cable with an operating frequency of 1200 MHz and a data transfer speed of up to 10000 Mbit/s, so it responds well in demanding network environments. Its construction combines 23/1 gauge solid copper conductors and S/FTP (S-STP) shielding, which helps to reduce interference in signal transmission. The jacket is halogen-free (LSZH) and the cable has a B2ca fire protection class, a relevant detail when installed in conduits or sensitive spaces. It also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices through the network connection itself. The round shape of the cable makes it easier to handle and lay during installation.
