Description
The EQUIP fibre optic and InfiniBand cable stands out for its turquoise colour and a cable length of 10 m, which allows equipment that is far apart to be linked without losing signal quality. It is an OM3 multimode cable with male SC connectors at both ends, designed for fibre optic connections in network environments and data centres. It offers a data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s and operates in full bidirectional mode, so that traffic flows in both directions at the same time. Its construction includes a 50 µm core and a 125 µm cladding, with an insertion loss of 0.5 dB. The jacket is made from halogen-free material, suitable for installations where safety against smoke is a concern. It supports an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 to 80 °C. It holds REACH and RoHS certificates of conformity and weighs 104 g.
