Description
The Epson PLQ-50M dot matrix printer, in black and white, reaches a maximum print speed of 630 characters per second, with 420 characters per second in draft mode, 210 in NLQ and 140 in LQ. It works at 10 characters per inch over a maximum width of 94 columns, with a character count of 14 and a maximum resolution of 180 x 360 DPI. Its 24-pin print head supports up to 6 copies and a mean time between failures of 35000 h. It includes barcodes such as CODABAR (NW-7), Code 128, Code 39, EAN13 and EAN8, as well as character sets such as PC437, PC850 and PC858. The buffer size is 128 KB and it uses the Epson ESC/P2 and PPDS page description languages.
