Description
The TP-Link MC111CS media converter converts copper networks into fibre optic, a black device that works over single-mode fibre. It offers a maximum data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s and wired connectivity, with an RJ-45 Ethernet LAN port and a fibre channel port with SC connector. It is compatible with the IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3x network standards and with Cat3, Cat4, Cat5 and Cat5e cable types. It incorporates the Auto MDI/MDI-X function for automatic connection and its LED indicators show activity and power status. It reaches a maximum transfer distance of 20000 m and uses a wavelength of 1550 nm over 100BASE-FX technology. Its maximum power consumption is 1.23 W, with dimensions of 94.5 x 27 x 73 mm (width x height x depth).
