Description
Connects the StarTech.com Twinax Direct Attach cable to two SFP+ ports via its male connectors, designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in switches and network equipment. Its 2 m cable, in black, uses a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket that protects the conductor in fixed rack installations and structured cabling. It reaches a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s, suitable for connecting switches, servers and cabinets within the same rack. It supports the InfiniBand protocol and works via direct connection without additional configuration thanks to its Plug and Play nature. It is certified in accordance with CE and FCC, and complies with the RoHS directive regarding restricted substances. It supports an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C, with a storage margin of -40 to 80 °C for transport. Its weight of 100 g facilitates handling during installation.
