Description
The StarTech.com Twinax Direct-Attach SFP+ to SFP+ cable is a passive copper patch cord designed to link 10 Gigabit network equipment. Both ends are male SFP+ connectors, so it connects directly to ports on compatible switches, servers and cards with this interface. It reaches a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s and supports the InfiniBand protocol, which extends its use to high-performance environments. It has a 3 m cable, a practical length for connecting racks or nearby equipment without accumulating surplus metres. The U/FTP (STP) shielding helps contain interference in high-traffic environments, and the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket protects the conductor in daily use. Its black colour fits any installation and its Plug and Play function simplifies commissioning. It weighs 130 g.
