Description
The StarTech.com Twinax Direct Attach cable connects two SFP+ ports with male connectors at both ends. It is a 0.5 m cable with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket, designed for short-distance links between compatible equipment. It reaches a data transfer rate of 10000 Mbit/s over SFP+ to SFP+, with InfiniBand protocol support to complete its focus on demanding network environments. Its Plug and Play nature allows it to be put into operation without additional configuration, which is practical when setting up direct connections between switches or servers. The assembly, in black, has a weight of 56 g and operates within an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C, while it can be stored between -40 and 80 °C. It has CE and FCC certification and RoHS certificates of conformity.
