Description
The low profile StarTech.com PCI-Express card adds three FireWire ports to your computer. It offers two FireWire 800 ports and one FireWire 400 port, with a PCIe host interface. It reaches a maximum data transfer rate of 0.8 Gbit/s and uses the Texas Instruments XIO2213B chipset. It is Plug and Play compatible and supports hot-swap. Its low profile internal format makes it suitable for compact cases, with dimensions of 58 x 20 x 90 mm and a weight of 43 g. Its green colour and its mean time between failures of 149905 h complete a solution designed to provide FireWire support for computers with a PCIe 1.1 slot. It operates within an operating temperature range of 0 to 70 °C and a relative humidity of 0 to 90%.
