Description
The StarTech.com OM3 multimode fibre optic cable, in turquoise, is designed for network links that require high performance over short distances. It is a 2 m cable with male LC connectors at both ends, which facilitates connection between equipment compatible with this type of interface. Its OM3 fibre has a 50 µm core and a 125 µm cladding, and supports wavelengths of 850 nm. It offers a data transfer rate of up to 100 Gbit/s and operates in full duplex mode, so that transmission takes place in both directions simultaneously. The jacket is made of halogen-free material, identified as LSZH, a common option in installations where the aim is to reduce smoke emission in the event of fire.
