Description
The StarTech.com OM3 multimode fibre optic cable, in turquoise, is a connection solution for data networks requiring a 5 m cable run. It features male LC connectors at both ends and is designed to operate at wavelengths of 850 nm. Its OM3 multimode construction enables a data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s and supports full duplex transmission. The cable core has a diameter of 50 µm, while the cladding reaches 125 µm, with a total cable diameter of 3 mm. The jacket is made of LSZH halogen-free material, which helps to reduce the emission of toxic gases in the event of fire. Weighing 67 g, it is lightweight and manageable for rack or conduit installation.
