Description
Connects fibre optic equipment with the EQUIP cable, a turquoise patch lead with a 2 m cable. Its two male ST connectors allow compatible multimode fibre devices to be linked. It is an OM3 cable with multimode structure, which facilitates data transmission in network installations. The jacket is made from halogen-free material (LSZH), a common option in environments where the aim is to reduce the emission of harmful substances in the event of fire. The core has a diameter of 50 µm, while the cladding reaches 125 µm, measurements that match the standard for this multimode fibre. Its operation is fully bidirectional, so it transmits and receives data simultaneously. The assembly weighs 40 g, a figure that is useful for calculating the load on trays and conduits.
