Description
EQUIP fibre optic adapter in blue, designed to connect SC connectors in single-mode fibre installations. Each unit incorporates two connectors and allows lengths of cable with this type of connector to be joined directly. Its dimensions of 34.7 x 33 x 9.4 mm (width x height x depth) and its weight of 13 g make it a compact and lightweight piece, comfortable to handle in communications cabinets and splice boxes. The single-mode fibre structure makes it suitable for long-distance links with low attenuation. It comes in a pack of 12 units, designed to undertake several connections in the same installation. Its reduced format facilitates mounting on panels and patch panels where space is tight. A practical component for expanding or repairing fibre optic networks with SC connectors.
