Description
The Zyxel XMG1915-18EP managed switch is an L2 device with 16 2.5G Ethernet ports (100/1000/2500) and two SFP+ module slots, designed to expand the network with high-speed links. It offers 10G support and virtual LAN functions such as MAC address-based VLAN, Port-based VLAN and Voice VLAN, as well as VLAN and QoS support to prioritise traffic. Its switching capacity reaches 120 Gbit/s with a forwarding rate of 89.2 Mpps and a MAC address table of 16000 entries. It handles Jumbo frames of up to 12000 with a packet buffer memory of 1.5 MB. In terms of security it incorporates IGMP, SSH/SSL support and DHCP client, DHCP relay and DHCP snooping functions. It is a managed switch with PoE, so it powers network devices through the Ethernet cable itself. It has a weight of 2.6 kg and dimensions of 330 x 44 x 230 mm (width x height x depth), suitable for rack or surface installation.
