Description
Connect your network devices with the StarTech.com Cat6a Ethernet cable, a black 5 m long patch cord designed for high-speed links. Its two male RJ-45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts, which favour reliable transmission on every connection. The stranded copper conductor, with AWG 26 gauge, enables a data transfer speed of 10000 Mbit/s and a frequency of 500 MHz. The S/UTP (STP) shielding protects the signal against external interference in heavily cabled environments. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket and the connector strain relief boot contribute to its durability in demanding installations. It has a CMG (CM) cable rating and a weight of 200 g, which makes it manageable during assembly.
