Description
Connect two network devices with the StarTech.com Cat6 cable, a grey patch lead with 0.5 m of cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet links. Its two male RJ-45 connectors feature gold-plated contacts and a protective boot, and the 24 AWG stranded conductor works with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) technology at a data transfer rate of 1000 Mbit/s and a frequency of 650 MHz. The PVC jacket and U/UTP shielding complete a cabling suitable for home and professional network installations. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices through the cable itself. Installation is immediate thanks to the Plug and Play function, with no additional configuration. Weighing 27 g, it is light and easy to handle in communications cabinets and workstations.
