Description
StarTech.com network cable, purple, 0.5 m in length, designed to connect equipment with male RJ-45 connectors. Its Cat6 U/UTP construction with 24 AWG stranded conductor and gold-plated contacts allows a data transfer speed of 1000 Mbit/s over 10/100/1000Base-T(X) technology. It works with Gigabit Ethernet and supports PoE power, as well as operating at a frequency of 650 MHz. The protective sheath on the connectors reinforces the junction points, the most exposed to wear with continuous use. Being Plug and Play compatible, it is enough to plug it in for the devices to be recognised without additional configuration. With a weight of 26 g, it is light and manageable in desktop, rack or structured cabling installations.
