Description
The StarTech.com Ethernet patch cord is a 10 m grey network cable, designed to link equipment with male RJ-45 connections at both ends. Its construction in stranded copper, with AWG 26 gauge and S/UTP (STP) shielding, allows it to work with 10GBase-T cabling technology and reach a data transfer speed of up to 10000 Mbit/s at a frequency of 500 MHz. The contacts of its connectors are gold-plated, which helps maintain a stable signal on each connection, and the protective boot protects the connector tabs during use. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so it can power compatible devices without the need for an additional power cable. The jacket is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), with CMG (CM) rating for installation in specific spaces. Its weight is 395 g and the system is Plug and play, so it is enough to plug it in to start working.
