Description
External SSD enclosure in M.2 format that connects your drive via USB Type-C. The StarTech.com supports 30, 42, 60 and 80 mm M.2 drives, with a single compatible drive, and mounts a Realtek RTL9210B chipset. It offers a data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s with USB 3.2 Gen 2, as well as UASP compatibility to accelerate performance. Its USB Type-C connector is female and the enclosure features one USB port. The body combines aluminium and plastic in black, with dimensions of 128 x 14 x 40 mm and a weight of 81.6 g. It includes LED activity and power indicators, and its mean time between failures is 112000 h. It is the solution to reuse your NGFF M.2 PCIe or SATA SSD as a portable drive.
