Description
The black StarTech.com external SSD enclosure turns an M.2 drive into a portable storage device with USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2) connection and 10 Gbit/s data transfer speed. Its JMicron JMS583 chipset and UASP support optimise performance, while the PCI Express 3.0 interface and compatibility with M.2 size drives complete the internal connection. The aluminium material gives it robustness, and IP67 certification protects it against water and dust, as well as having CE, FCC and REACH certifications. It includes an LED activity indicator and is powered through the USB itself, with no need for an additional power source. Its dimensions are 105 x 14 x 45 mm and it weighs 164 g, with a 0.05 m cable included. It supports a mean time between failures of 50000 h and operates in a relative humidity range of 20 to 80%, with a storage temperature of -20 to 50 °C.
